Automatic doors are used to meet ADA Compliance allowing personnel with disabilities to access your facility just as easy as any one else. We have all seen them at the grocery stores where they are used by everyone. Automatic door openers are also installed at the main entrance, usually near a ramp or where it is easily seen when approaching the facility. The doors can be opened with a remote paddle that can either be installed near the door or set back for approaching individuals. The doors can also be opened with a motion censor that is installed above the door.

Most facilities require at least one ADA Compliant door opener and you can roughly expect around $2,800 installed.

Just because it doesn’t work doesn’t mean its broken. Here at A-1 we service automatic door openers to allow you to meet these requirements. Often times its just a simple adjustment.
